A vast, ancient forest bathed in the glow of a colossal, ethereal moon. Trees with silver leaves shimmer, casting long, dancing shadows. A soft, melancholic melody drifts through the air, carried by the wind. Mist hangs low, obscuring the ground.

[CLOSE UP on ELARA, a lithe elven warrior, her emerald eyes scanning the surroundings. She clutches a bow, an arrow nocked, but her expression is more sorrowful than vigilant.]

[ELARA] (Whispering to herself) The whispers grow stronger here... the sorrow of the lost.

[PAN RIGHT to KAI, a burly, scarred mercenary, adjusting the heavy pauldron on his shoulder. He watches Elara with a gruff but concerned look.]

[KAI] (Voice rough) Still nothing, Elara? This 'Heartstone' better be worth this dreadful trek. My instincts scream 'turn back'.

[Elara shakes her head, gesturing towards a shimmering light deeper in the grove.]

[ELARA] It calls to me, Kai. The legend says it can mend what's broken. My village... my family...

[A low, resonant HUM vibrates through the air, growing steadily louder. The silver leaves glow brighter, then abruptly dim. The wind howls, and the mist swirls violently.]

[KAI] (Drawing his sword) Sounds like something's about to break even more.

[A blinding flash erupts from the heart of the grove. Elara shields her eyes, while Kai braces himself. A colossal, shadowy form begins to coalesce amidst the light, its presence radiating immense, ancient power.]

[FADE TO BLACK as the sound of splintering wood and a beastly roar echo.]
