Darkness engulfs the winding tunnels, lit only by the flickering oil lamp held by AURELIA (30s), a woman with resolute eyes, dressed in simple, worn tunic. She leads a small group of whispering CHRISTIANS – old men, young women, a child – through the labyrinthine passages.

CLOSE ON: Aurelia's face, a mixture of fear and devotion. Her lips move silently in prayer.

They stop in a wider chamber, revealing a crude altar made of stone. Faint frescoes of fish and anchors adorn the walls.

MARCUS (50s), a stoic elder, places a small loaf of bread and a flask of wine on the altar.

MARCUS (Whispering) The Body and Blood of our Lord.

The Christians kneel, heads bowed, in solemn reverence. The child, ANNA (7), clutches a small wooden crucifix. Her eyes dart nervously at the shadows, then settle on Aurelia, finding comfort.

AURELIA (Softly, but with conviction) Though trials may test our faith, and persecution rage, we are united in His love. Let us remember His sacrifice, and find strength in His promise.

She begins to recite the Lord's Prayer, her voice a fragile but firm anchor in the oppressive darkness. The others join in, their whispers gradually growing into a collective, hushed chorus.

CLOSE ON: The flickering lamp casting long, dancing shadows, momentarily illuminating a small, carved symbol of the Chi-Rho.
